Technology of OSS

1. The steam generated by superheated furnace is superheated up to more than 500℃. The superheated steam turns to an ultrasonic jet stream of more than Mach Two, which is accompanied with shock waves by blasting the steam into the process chamber by the use of specially-structured jet nozzle. In the process chamber, the jet stream and materials containing oil in the sludge collides forcibly.
2. In the process chamber, the oil-containing materials of superheated jet stream and oil sludge etc. collides forcibly and directly.
3. The oil-containing materials generated by kinetic energy with jet stream blast. Then water & solid content are instantly vaporized by the heat energy of superheated steam and are separated from solid content.
4. Water and oil content vaporized are led to oil & water separating tank that has a cooling function and then liquefied. Oil content liquefied rise up to the surface of oil & water separating tank, and then is recovered in manner of overflow.
5. The solid contents are separated inside the cyclone and dropped down to the residue conveyer, thus discharging the residue while being subjected to cooling.

 

 

1. Oil percentage of the solid content recovered by cyclone can be lowered to the level of 0.1-0.2%, which percentage does not affect biological and physical cycle in nature.
2. Oil content recovered has less heavy metal and sulfur and tends to be lightened.
3. As this solid content has less contact with superheated steam of high temperature, practically thermal denaturation does not occur.
4. The treatment method using this thermal energy and kinetic energy differs extremely from the current petroleum refinery using constant decompression.
5. Only superheated steam is forwarded to the inside of treatment tank. As the materials are treated under an oxygen-free condition, the highly safe operation is guaranteed.
6. As this is not the treatment method of incineration, chemicals or microscopic organism, there is no impact on environment.
